A round table on "Adaptation of national legislation to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities"was held. Сотрудники подробно рассказали студентам о порядке работы и деятельности Ассоциации.

В последний день учения состоялся искренний и открытый диалог с молодежью под руководством председателя Ассоциации инвалидов Узбекистана Ойбека Исокова. В ходе диалога студенты получили ответы на все интересующие их вопросы и выразили благодарность всем сотрудникам Ассоциации, которые давали советы и поддержку во время практики, не жалея своего времени, знаний и опыта.

“We are convinced that in order to achieve the successful implementation of the Convention, it is extremely important to provide expert and technical assistance to the Government, including in matters of increasing the capacity of persons involved in the implementation of the Convention. This training is designed to respond to the participants' need for additional knowledge in the field of the implementation of the Convention and the adoption of legislation and policies aimed at taking into account and ensuring the rights and interests of people with disabilities,” said Fabio Piana, Acting Regional Representative of the OHCHR in Central Asia.
