Seminar on ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities: initiatives of the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan in Samarkand

The Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Public Foundation of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a seminar on ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities in Samarkand on December 23, 2023. During the seminar, presentations were made and the following topics were discussed: The concept and significance of the social state; The concept and significance of "Inclusive Education"; The essence and significance of article 23 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities "Respect for the home and family"; Benefits and preferences provided to enterprises of public organizations of persons with disabilities.
